FAQ’s- WEDDING DAY

What time will you arrive?

To work out a start time you want to all aim to be ready 1 hour before the ceremony (if getting ready on site, allow extra time if travelling to venue), from there I work backwards allowing 1 hr for bridal makeup and 45 mins for everyone else. You also need to check with your venue what time you are allowed in to start glam on the day. This may effect whether you need just one makeup artist or two depending on the size of your bridal party.

What if we need another MUA to help as I have a lot of people in my bridal party?

I will always try and source someone to help if needed, there’s a few amazing MUA’s I’ve worked with in the past who’s work I consider similar. Alternatively if there’s another artist you’ve found i’m happy to work alongside anyone you’ve booked if there’s lots of people needing makeup.

How much space will you need?

I will bring my case, makeup chair and ring light if required. Most importantly I just need a space with good natural light and a table to lay out my makeup.

How long do you stay once the makeup is finished?

Once all the makeup is finished I will then spend around 15mins touching up lipstick and making sure everyone’s makeup is still in place. Once I’ve done this and checked with the bride I will then pack up. In this last hour the registrars will come to see you, photographs being taken….you don’t want me in the way in the background!

Do you offer hair and makeup as a package?

Unfortunately I don’t offer hair, I’m purely makeup only. I can recommend some wonderful hairdressers though, just mention in your contact form.

When do you require final payment?

Either bank transfer the week of the wedding or payment on the day. If you wish to pay in instalments before then I can agree this over email.
