FAQ’s- BRIDAL BOOKING
When do I need to book my bridal makeup?
I open my diary roughly 2 years ahead, as soon as you’ve booked your venue and have a firm date then its never too early to start contacting suppliers. If your wedding date is later than the dates above then I can add you to a waitlist until my diary is open for that year and I will then contact you.
How do I ensure my date is secured?
Once you’ve emailed and I’ve confirmed I’m available on your wedding date then I will send you a booking form and request a deposit- once received only then is the date confirmed as yours. I’m unable to hold dates without deposits unless otherwise agreed over email.
Is the deposit deducted from the trial price or on the day?
All deposits are deducted from the ‘on the day’ prices, this then covers me in the unlikely event you needed to cancel the booking. All deposits are NON REFUNDABLE.
I’m reluctant to pay a deposit without a trial with you first?
I get asked this a lot and I know it can be difficult to find the right artist for you. In this instance I would ask that you book a trial asap so you can see if you are happy with your look. Your wedding may be a long way off but this way you can then maybe have another trial nearer the day if you wish. I am happy to hold the date until the trial in this instance but the trial would need to be within the month of initial inquiry.
What if I need to cancel my wedding or change my date?
All deposits are non refundable- in the event of cancellation regardless of how far in advance this may be. If you change your date I will hopefully be able to accommodate the new one but if not then unfortunately the deposit is still non-refundable.
What if you are unwell or need to cancel doing my makeup?
Another common question, I have been doing makeup for over 10 years now and ill or not I’ve never let down a bride. In the extreme event there was a reason I couldn’t fulfill the booking then I have a network of fabulous artists I can recommend but I would always find someone who is available for you so you wouldn’t be without an artist. In this instance the full deposit would be refunded. I can’t stress how rare this situation would be, I enjoy my work far too much to let my brides down!
